Holden Gets Contract Extension With EPL's Bolton

Former Houston Dynamo and US Men's National Team midfielder Stuart Holden signed a contract extension with the Bolton Wanderers of the English Premier League through the 2012-13 season, according to The Houston Chronicle.

Holden's contract was to expire at the end of the current season.

After joining the team on a short-term loan in January 2010, he broke his right leg in a March 3 USMNT friendly against the Netherlands and was limited to three appearances with the Wanderers.

He has started all six of Bolton's games this season.
