The Vancouver Whitecaps of the USSF Division 2 Pro League announced the release Friday of Liberian midfielder Ansu Toure.
He joined the team January 21, 2009 and started 37 of 49 games during his stint there, scoring a combined six goals and three assists, with half of the goals coming this season over 18 games.
