The US Men's National Team announced Wednesday they will host Poland in an exhibition game October 9 at Soldier Field in Chicago.
It will be the USMNT's first game since losing 2-0 to Brazil last Tuesday at New Meadowlands Stadium, which was the team's first game since losing in the Round of 16 to Ghana at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa.
The game will be televised by Fox Soccer Channel and Univision.
The US is 7-7-2 all-time against Poland, but Poland has a 4-2-1 record in games played on American soil, with the draw coming July 11, 2008 at Soldier Field -- a 1-1 affair.
There is also talk of the USMNT facing Colombia in another exhibition during that week, possibly in the New York City area.
