Major League Soccer's expansion Philadelphia Union filled the final spot on their 24-man senior roster Tuesday with the signing of defender/midfielder Sheanon Williams, who recently played for the Harrisburg City Islanders of the USL Second Division.
Williams, a member of US Soccer's U-17 Residency Program in Bradenton, FL, played for his country at the 2007 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Korea and the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Egypt in 2009.
Williams is the second member of the City Islanders on the Union roster, joining midfielder J.T.Noone.
