The Portland Timbers and the host FC Tampa Bay Rowdies played to a 2-2 draw Saturday in USSF Division 2 Pro League action at Tampa's Steinbrenner Field.
Bright Dike opened the scoring for Portland in the 16th minute until Yendry Diaz assisted Aaron King on Tampa's first goal in the 27th to lock the score at 1-all.
Ricardo Sanchez's unassisted goal broke the tie in the 51st minute for the Rowdies, but Takyuki Suzuki ended the match with an equally unassisted play in the 81st minute.
Portland is third in the USL Conference at 7-6-6 with 27 points and travels to Marina Auto Stadium in Rochester, NY Wednesday to face the Rochester Rhinos.
Tampa Bay is 6-7-6 with 24 points for fifth place and they hit the road next Saturday to face the best team in the league and the USL Conference, the Austin Aztex.
