The Portland Timbers of the USSF Division 2 Pro League announced the signing Wednesday of Dutch forward Ibad Muhamadu for the remainder of the 2010 season.
Muhamadu scored eight goals in 15 games this season for Dutch second division team FC Dordrecht, where he was his third stint after playing from the 2006 to 2008 seasons before returning this past season.
He also played in the Netherlands, his native country, with Cambuur-Leewarden (2003-04), MVV (2004-05) and Willem II (2008-09), along with stints in Belgium with Cercle Brugge of their first division (2005-06) and Germany with Dynamo Dresden of the third division (2008-09).
In his nine seasons in Europe, he has scored 43 goals in 176 matches, with his best season coming in 2004-05 with MVV, where he scored 14 goals.
