The Rochester Rhinos of the USSF Division 2 Pro League welcomed Bob Russell back to the organization Wednesday as its new executive vice president.
Russell was the team's former vice president of operations from August 1996 to December 1999 and most recently worked for the non-profit The Little Theater as their executive director.
Under his leadership, the theatre was named the 2009 Organizaton of the Year by the Arts Council of Greater Rochester.
Russell also was head of marketing and sales operations for the Geva Theatre from August 2000 to June 2006.
He also has sports management expereience with the National Hockey League's Buffalo Sabres (1987-92), the American Hockey League's Rochester Americans (1983-87) and the Buffalo Bandits of the National Lacrosse League (1991).
