New New York Red Bulls Thierry Henry assisted on two goals from fellow Designated Player Juan Pablo Angel but Henry's official Major League Soccer debut ended with a 2-2 draw against the Houston Dynamo Saturday at Robertson Stadium.
Angel scored goals in the 10th and 58th minute for the Red Bulls, second in the Eastern Conference standings at 8-6-3 with 27 points.
Brad Davis gave Houston their opening lead in the 24th minute on a penalty kick and Brian Mullin scored the game-tying final goal in the 90th minute. The Dynamo are 5-8-5 with 20 points and are in seventh place in the Western Conference standings.
New York travels to Toyota Park to play the Chicago Fire next Sunday and the Dynamo head to the Seattle Sounders' Qwest Field for a match the same day.
