Defending Champs Real Salt Lake Pummel DC United At Rio Tinto Stadium

Alvaro Saborio scored in the 13th minute off a Ned Grabavoy assist and Robbie Findley and Nelson Gonzalez had second half goals as the defending Major League Soccer champion Real Salt Lake shut out the league's worst team, DC United, 3-0 Saturday at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, UT.

RSL is 10-4-4 with 34 points and are in second in the Western Conference standings. They will travel to the Kansas City Wizards next Saturday.

DC United, who have lost their last six games, is 3-12-3 with 12 points and is in last place in the Eastern Conference. They will head to Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA next Saturday to play the New England Revolution.
