Dayton Daily News: Dutch Lions Head Coach Leaving By Mutual Agreement After Inaugural Season

The expansion Dayton Dutch Lions of the USL Premier Development League and head coach and director of coaching Sonny Silooy agreed to a mutual parting of the ways Friday, according to the Dayton Daily News.

In a statement, team co-owner Mike Mossel said the release was chosen "due to a differences in soccer philosophy about the Dutch Lions program:".

The Dutch Lions finished their first USL PDL season with an 8-3-5 record with 29 points and in a tie for third place in the Central Conference - Great Lakes Division, just missing out on a trip to the league playoffs.

Dayton moves next season into the USL Second Division as an expansion team and the franchise will also field a USL W-League team in 2011.
