Ching Hat Trick Leads Dynamo Over Fire To Snap 10-Game Winless Streak

Brian Ching had a hat trick, Lovell Palmer added a goal and Richard Mulrooney assisted on all four scores as the Houston Dynamo won a Major League Soccer match for the first time since May 22 over DC United in a 4-3 victory over the Chicago Fire Saturday at Robertson Stadium in Houston, TX.

Calen Carr and Wilman Conde both were assisted by Freddie Ljungberg on their Fire goals and Houston's Bobby Boswell scored an own goal for Chicago.

The Dynamo are 6-10-6 with 23 points, are in seventh place in the Western Conference, and will take on the Colorado Rapids at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, CO this Saturday.

The Fire, at a level 6-6-6 with 24 points, are fourth in the Eastern Conference and will meet the Seattle Sounders at Qwest Field this Saturday.
