San Jose Earthquakes goalkeeper Jon Busch bobbled a ball in his hands and the resulting goal in the 26th minute gave the host Colorado Rapids a 1-0 victory to snap a seven-game Major League Soccer losing streak Saturday at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, CO.
The error also snapped San Jose's two-game winning streak.
Colorado is 7-5-6 with 27 points and tied for third place in the Western Conference standings with FC Dallas (6-2-9) and will travel to the expansion Philadelphia Union this coming Saturday.
San Jose is in sixth place in the conference at 6-6-5 with 23 points and hosts the Kansas City Wizards this Saturday at Buck Shaw Stadium.
