Justin Braun's team-leading eighth goal of the season in the 13th minute was all Chivas USA needed to break a three-game Major League Soccer losing streak in a 1-0 victory over the worst team in the league this season in DC United Sundat at The Home Depot Center in Carson, CA.
Chivas, last place in the Western Conference at 6-11-4 with 22 points, will next travel to the Colorado Rapids Saturday at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, CO.
United, who has lost six of their last seven games, is a league-worst 4-15-3 with 17 points and is in last place in the Eastern Conference. They will host the Eastern Conference-leading Columbus Crew Saturday at RFK Stadium.
