Bradley Signs Four-Year Contract Extension To Remain USMNT Head Coach

Ending speculation he would take a job opening in the English Premier League with either Fulham or Aston Villa, Bob Bradley signed a four-year contract extention with the US Soccer Federation to remain as head coach of the US Men's National Team through the next FIFA World Cup in Brazil in 2014.

Bradley is 38-20-8 in four years since taking the position over from former head coach, and now head coach of Major League Soccer's best team, the Los Angeles Galaxy, Bruce Arena.

Among his accomplishments with the team are leading the team to the 2007 CONCACAF Gold Cup title and a runner-up finish to Mexico in the 2009 event, making the final of the 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup tournament in South Africa, marking the first time the US made it to the final of  federation-sponsored tournament, and winning their group to advance to knockout stage play at the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

Bradley previousl coached three MLS teams -- the Chicago Fire (1998-2003), the New York/New Jersey MetroStars (2003-05) and Chivas USA (2006).
