Addlery Assists On Both Goals In Islanders Upset Of Aztex; Austin No Longer Best In D-2

Nick Addlery assisted on goals by David Foley and Daniel Keon as the Puerto Rico Islanders stunned the Austin Aztex with a 2-0 win at House Park in Austin Saturday that knocked the Aztex off their perch as the best team in the USSF Division 2 Pro League.

It was only the third time the Aztex, now second in the USL Conference at 12-3-5 with 41 points, have been shutout this season.

By virtue of a 2-1 victory at Marina Auto Stadium in Rochester, NY Saturday over the Montreal Impact, the Rochester Rhinos now lead the conference and the league at 12-5-6 with 42 points.

The Aztex look to retake the spot at the top of the scoring table Wednesday when they host the Carolina RailHawks.

Puerto Rico is 7-7-7 with 28 points and are tied for fourth place in the USL Conference with the NSC Minnesota Stars (7-10-7) and will look to upset the NASL Conference's best team, the Vancouver Whitecaps, Thursday at Juan Ramon Loubriel Stadium in Bayamon, PR.
