Former US U-18 and U-20 national team midfielder Sal Zizzo signed a contract Tuesday to play in Major League Soccer and has left Hannover of Germany's Bundesliga, where he has played since 2007.
Zizzo, who also played once in 2007 for the US Men's National Team, will know which MLS team he will play for after a weighted lottery is held Wednesday at league headquarters.
Zizzo was loaned to Dusseldorf in Bundesliga 2 in Germany, but suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his knee and was just cleared to play again for them.
