Wizards Become First MLS Team To Defeat Manchester United In Exhibition

Kei Kamara had the game-winning goal in the 42nd minute off Ryan Smith and assisted Davy Arnaud on an 11th minute shot as the Kansas City Wizards became the first team in Major League Soccer history to defeat the English Premier League's top team, Manchester United in an exhibition game 2-1 Sunday before a Mid-America record crowd for a professional soccer game -- 52,424 -- at New Arrowhead Stadium.

Manchester United, who will face the MLS All-Stars Wednesday at Reliant Stadium in Houston, got their only goal from Dimitar Berbatov on an penalty kick.

The Wizards return to MLS play Saturday when they host Toronto FC at CommunityAmerica Ballpark.
