Doudou Toure's goal late in the game ended an 11-game winless streak for the Vancouver Whitecaps Residency in a 1-0 victory over the host Yakima Reds in USL Premier Development League play Thursday at Marquette Stadium in Yakima, WA.
The Whitecaps Residency are 1-8-3 with six points and are in eighth place in the Western Conference - Northwest Division standings. They will next travel to the Spokane Spiders Saturday.
The Reds are in sixth place at 4-9-0 with 12 points and host the Abbotsford Mariners Saturday.
