USL-2's City Islanders Tie MLS' Union In Game Where Two Minutes Decided It All

The Harrisburg City Islanders of the USL Second Division, for the first time ever, hosted their affiliate team, Major League Soccer's Philadelphia Union, playing them to a 1-1 draw Tuesday at Skyline Sports Complex.

Danny Mwanga scored for the Union in the 30th minute off an assist from Fred, but, a minute later, Philadelphia's Jason Hotchkin knocked the ball into his own goal to knot the score.

The City Islanders return to USL-2 action with road games this Saturday at the defending league champion Richmond Kickers and next Wednesday at the Pittsburgh Riverhounds before hosting the Kickers Augsut 7, then the Riverhounds in the final home game August 14.

The Union host the New England Revolution at PPL Park in Chester, PA this Saturday in MLS matchplay.
