Brain Ramsey's unassisted goal in the 23rd minute gave the Portland Timbers U23s a 1-0 victory over the Kitsap Pumas in their USL Premier Development League home season finale Sunday at Bremerton High School in Kitsap, WA and also made them the first PDL franchise since the 1998 Jackson (MS) Chargers to finish the season undefeated at 16-0-0 with 48 points, capturing the Western Conference - Northwest Division crown in their second season of existence.
Kitsap, 10-2-2 with 32 points and in second place in the division, ends its 2010 season with two road games against the Vancouver Whitecaps Residency Wednesday and the Tacoma Tide Sunday. The Pumas won the division crown last season.
