Stars Come From Behind To Force Draw With AC St. Louis

Brian Cvilikas and Geison Moura scored late second-half goals to turn a potential three-point night for AC St. Louis into a shared one point a piece against the host NSC Minnesota Stars in a 2-2 USSF Division 2 Pro League game Wednesday at the National Sports Center in Blaine, MN.

St. Louis had the first goal in the 42nd minute as Mark Bloom fed a pass to Jeff Cosgriff and extended the lead to 2-0 near the 60th minute when Chris Salvaggione scored before the Stars mounted a comeback with goals in the 86th and 91st minute, respectively, from Cvilikas and Moura.

The Stars are in third place in the USL Conference with a 7-9-3 record and 24 points and will travel to House Park in Austin, TX to face the league's best team, the USL Conference-leading Austin Aztex, Saturday.

St. Louis holds the worst record in the NASL Conference and the D-2 league at 3-8-4 with 13 points. Next Wednesday, St. Louis will play the Montreal Impact at Saputo Stadium.
