Red Bulls Cut Wolyniec For Third Time In MLS Career

Major League Soccer's New York Red Bulls announced the release Friday of forward John Wolyniec for the third time in his career.

He started two of four regular season game this season and scored four goals during their run in the 2010 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup tournament.

He re-joined the team for the third time in an August 17, 2006 trade with the Los Angeles Galaxy in return for New York's fourth round pick in the 2007 MLS SuperDraft and a second round 2008 SuperDraft pick.

Wolyniec is second all-time in team history in regular season games played at 142.
