Joseph Kabwe and Josh Garnder scored goals in their respective halves as the Carolina RailHawks shut out AC St. Louis 2-0 Saturday in USSF Division 2 Pro League play at Anheuser-Busch Soccer Park in Fenton, MO.
Carolina is 4-2-6 with 18 points and is in second place in the NASL Conference standings, eight points behind the Vancouver Whitecaps (6-2-7, 25 points) for the conference lead. The RailHawks travel to the Puerto Rico Islanders next Sunday.
St. Louis has the league's and the conference's worst record at 2-8-2 with eight points. They will host the Whitecaps Thursday.
