Pumas Make USL PDL Playoffs For Second Straight Season; Beat Whitecaps Residency

For the franchise's second straight season, the Kitsap Pumas will advance to the USL Premier Development League playoffs after Eli Gordley led them with two goals and an assist in their 6-2 victory over the Vancouver Whitecaps Residency Wednesday at Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Tye Perdido scored a goal and assisted on two others and three players -- Cameron Hepple, Taylor Hyde and Jamel Wallace -- added goals for Kitsap, who clinched the second-place spot in the Western Conference - Northwest Division with an 11-2-2 record and 35 points, behind the 2010 division regular season champion Portland Timbers U23s, who finished the season a perfect 16-0-0.

The Pumas end their 2010 season at Bremerton High School in Bremerton, WA Sunday when they host the Victoria Highlanders.
