Newcomer Stephen Baker scored his first two goals this season and Lebogang Moloto and Logan McDaniel had two points each with a goal and an assist as the host Des Moines Menace shut out the Kansas City Brass 6-0 Saturday in USL Premier Development League play at Valley Stadium in West Des Moines, IA.
Husref Jupic and Sam Morris added a goal each as the Menace won by the largest victory margin since beating the Springfield Demize 7-0 in May 2008.
They also swept the three-game series this season with the Brass and have won 10 straight games against them. It was also the team's third shutout of the season.
The Menace, who will not earn a spot in the league playoffs from the Central Conference - Heartland Division, are 6-3-6 with 24 points for fourth place and play their home and 2010 season finale next Saturday against the St. Louis Lions.
Kansas City ends their 2010 season with a 1-11-3 record and six points, tied for last in the division with the Demize (1-12-3).
