Ryan Luke scored four goals to lead the expansion Washington Crossfire to a 6-0 rout of the host Abbostford Mariners in USL Premier Development League play Thursday from Bateman Park in Abbostford, British Columbia.
Alex Klein was assisted by Jamie French on a 27th minute goal for the Crossfire and Matt Van Houten did the same for Cullen Wilson in the 34th minute.
The Crossfire are 4-6-1 with 13 points and in fifth place in the Western Conference, Northwest Division, while the Mariners falter and are now 2-7-1 with seven points and is in sixth place.
Both teams next play the Vancouver Whitecaps Residency this weekend -- Washington on the road against them Friday, Abbotsford hosting them Sunday.
