Lady Lynx Put Pressure On Fury With Rout Of Avalanche

Christable Oduro scored two goals and Allysha Chapman and Olivia Mbala added goals as the Toronto Lady Lynx shut out the Hamilton Avalanche 4-0 in USL W-League play Saturday at Centennial Park Stadium in Toronto.

The Lady Lynx ended their 2010 home and season schedule at 7-2-3 with 24 points and tied for the lead in the Central Conference - Great Lakes Division with the Ottawa Fury (7-1-2).

Ottawa hosts the Quebec City Amiral on the final day of the regular season Sunday and a win would lock up the divisional title for the Fury and giving the Lady Lynx the second-place playoff berth from the division. Tiebreakers will be necessary between Ottawa and Toronto if the Fury lose, as both teams split a two-game divisional series.

The Avalanche's 2010 season ends at 1-11-0 with three points.
