It was the second straight win at Montreal's home pitch in less than a month.
The Whitecaps lead the NASL Conference with an 8-3-9 record with 33 points and are three points behind the USL Conference's Austin Aztex (10-2-5, 35) for having the league's best record. Vancouver will travel to the Carolina RailHawks Saturday at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, NC.
Montreal, 6-8-5 with 23 points and in third place in the NASL standings, faces Crystal Palace Baltimore Saturday on the road.
