There hasn't been a USL Premier Development League playoff season that hasn't featured the Laredo Heat and that string moves to a sixth straight season as the Laredo Heat shut out the Houston Leones 2-0 for their first win ever at Soccer World Center in Houston.

Dany Galvan scored unassisted in the 17th minute and Juan de Dios Barra assisted Felix Garcia on a 78th minute goal as the Heat lead the Southern Conference - Mid-South Division at 9-4-1 with 28 points. They play their final road games of the season Friday and Saturday at the El Paso Patriots.

Houston is 4-5-4 with 16 points and in fourth place in the division. The Leones host the Rio Grande Valley Bravos in their home season finale Sunday, then end their 2010 campaign this Friday at the DFW Tornados.
