Jack Auesyan (25') and Andy Rose (74') scored goals off Danny Barrera assists as the defending USL Premier Development League champion Ventura County Fusion shut out the Orange County Blue Star in their opponents' home and season finale at Concordia University Sunday.
The Fusion (10-4-1, 31) are tied with the Blue Star (9-3-4) for the Western Conference - Southwest Division lead but, if the Fusion beat the Los Angeles Legends in Ventura County's home and season finale Saturday at Buena High School, they will win the division as the Blue Star season ended Sunday.
Both teams have already qualified for the PDL playoffs.
