The USL W-League announced Tuesday their statistical winners for individual awards from the just-completed 2010 season.
Midfielder Kelly Parker of the Buffalo Flash won both the Goal Scoring and overall Scoring Championship with 11 goals and five assists in seven games for a total of 27 points.
Her teammate, forward Veronica Boguete won the Assist Leader title with seven, beating out Kara Kabellis of the Chicago Red Eleven and Yui Miwa of the New York Magic.
Finally, Charlotte Eagles goalkeeper Alyssa Whitehead, who played every minute of all 10 of the team's games this season, was named the Goals Against Average Champion with a 0.410 average, edging out Ottawa Fury netminder Jasmine Phillips, who had a 0.420 average.
The W-League will announce their 2010 All-Conference Teams next Monday, the All-League Teams next Tuesday and the nominees for Coach of the Year, Defender of the Year and Rookie of the Year next Wednesday.
The winners of those awards, plus the league's Goalkeeper of the Year, will be announced at the annual Championship Banquet next Friday in Santa Clarita, CA.
