With one weekend left in the regular season, the Chicago Fire managed to cause a three-way tie for the lead in the USL Premier Development League's Central Conference - Great Lakes Division following a 2-0 win Monday at Toyota Park over the Cleveland Internationals.
Greggory Austin Berry scored on a Kirk Urso pass in the 72nd minute and Calum Mallace was helped by Ethan Finley in the 88th minute for the Fire victory.
Chicago is 9-4-2 with 29 points, locked in the tie with the Michigan Bucks (9-3-2) and Forest City London (8-1-5) for two playoff berths.
The Fire will complete their 2010 season at home this Saturday against the Dayton Dutch Lions.
The Bucks have two road games this week -- at the Toronto Lynx Wednesday and at the Indiana Invaders Saturday.
Finally, Forest City hosts two games this week -- against the Kalamazoo Outrage Tuesday and the Internationals Friday.
