David Ferreira scored the game-tying goal in the 87th minute as FC Dallas extended their unbeaten streak to five games in a 1-1 draw against the host Seattle Sounders in Major League Soccer play at Qwest Field Sunday.
Dallas, at 5-2-7 with 22 points and now tied for third in the Western Conference standings with the San Jose Earthquakes and the Colorado Rapids, both 6-4-4, are 3-0-2 in their last five games, counting Sunday. They will host the defending league champion Real Salt Lake this Saturday at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco, TX.
Fredy Montero scored in the 18th minute on a header for the Sounders, now 4-8-4 with 16 points and in seventh place in the conference, will travel to DC United Thursday.
