Christine Sinclair knotted the game at 1-all with a 35th minute goal off Ali Riley and Marta fired off an unassisted shot 10 minutes later as the current leader in Women's Professional Soccer, FC Gold Pride, extended their lead in the standings following a 2-1 win over the host Boston Breakers at Harvard Stadium Wednesday.
Jordan Angeli scored in the 30th minute off Alex Scott for the lone Breakers highlight.
The Pride, at 11-3-1 with 34 points, will travel to the Maryland SoccerPlex in Boyds, MD Saturday to face the Washington Freedom Futures.
Boston is 4-6-4 with 16 points, is sixth in the standings, and will play at Toyota Park in Bridgeview, IL this Sunday.
