Dynamo, Chivas Draw In SuperLiga Group A Play

Lovel Palmer of the Houston Dynamo scored an unassisted goal in the 66th minute, but Jesus Padilla's header off a set piece five minutes later for Chivas USA caused both Major League Soccer teams to play to a 1-1 draw Sunday in the second game of Group A play in the 2010 SuperLiga tournament Sunday at Houston's Robertson Stadium.

Houston leads Group A in the eight-team tournament to determine which league has the bext team in the world this year -- MLS or Mexico's Primera Division -- for which the winning team gets $1 million, at 1-0-1 with four points.

Chivas is in third place at 0-1-1 with a point.

The top two teams in each of the two groups advance to the tournament semifinals.

Both teams play their Primera Division group rivals this Wednesday -- Houston hosting Puebla at Robertson Stadium, Chivas welcoming Pachuca to The Home Depot Center.
