The defending Women's Professional Soccer champion, Sky Blue FC, announced the firing Monday of head coach Paulina Miettinen and assistant coach Anne Pamila and promoted assistant coach Rick Stanton to head coach.
Stanton officially takes over behind the bench this Saturday when they travel to the Philadelphia Independence.
