City Islanders Defeat Eagles At Skyline Sports Complex

The last-place Harrisburg City Islanders pulled off a 2-1 upset victory the Charlotte Eagles in USL Second Division play Saturday at Skyline Sports Complex in Harrisburg, PA.

J.T. Noone assisted Sheanon Williams on the opening goal for Harrisburg in the 41st minute, then watched as Anthony Coleman connected with Jason Hotchkin in the 49th minute to take a 2-0 lead.

Darren Toby had an unassisted goal for Charlotte in the 73rd minute.

Harrisburg, at 2-6-4 with 10 points, plays a two-game series this week with the Real Maryland Monarchs, traveling to them Thursday and hosting them this Saturday.

Charlotte is holding steady at 5-6-3 with 18 points and in third place in the division. They will host the Richmond Kickers this Saturday.
