City Islander Bloes Named USL-2 Player Of The Week

Harrisburg City Islanders forwards Geoff Bloes, who had a goal and two assists during a two-game, home-and-home series with the Real Maryland Monarchs last Thursday and Saturday, was named Tuesday the USL Second Division Player of the Week.

Bloes scored the lone goal at Richard Montgomery High School in Maryland in a 1-0 win last Thursday, then, two nights later at Skyline Sports Complex in Harrisburg, assisted on two goals in a 3-2 victory Saturday.

The City Islanders have won their last five games covering all competitions.
