Peter Byers' 74th minute goal, assisted by Rocco Placentino, led the host Montreal Impact to a 1-0 win over the Carolina RailHawks, who suffered their first road loss in the 2010 USSF Division 2 Pro League, at Saputo Stadium Wednesday.
The RailHawks are in third place in the NASL Conference at 5-3-6 with 21 points, one behind the second place conference team, the Impact, at 5-6-5 with 20 points.
Carolina will be at Marina Auto Stadium this Saturday against the Rochester Rhinos and the Impact will host Crystal Palace Baltimore this Sunday at Saputo.
