Brilla Ends Capitals' 10-Game Unbeaten Streak; Tie For Division Lead

Moses Aduny scored in the 18th minute off Mike Azira and assisted Ahmad Ihmeidan in he 39th minute as the host Mississippi Brilla ended the 10-game unbeaten streak of the Baton Rouge Capitals in a 4-3 victory in USL Premier Development League play Thursday at Harper Davis Stadium on the campus of Millsaps College in Jackson, MS.

Willie Hunt had a 21st minute goal off Nick Rich and Phillip Buffington added an unassisted shot in the 58th minute for the Brilla.

Ben Callon opened the scoring for Baton Rouge in the 11th minute from Ricky Vargas, Joe Tait put in a goal in first-half stoppage time, and Mark Anderson posted the final point in the 80th minute.

Both teams, however, now share first place in the Southern Conference - Mid-South Division -- Mississippi at 7-0-3 with 24 points, Baton Rouge at 7-1-3 with 24 points.

The Brilla will put their 10-game unbeaten streak on the line next Thursday when they host Fort Lauderdale Schulz Academy and the Capitals will host the Atlanta Blackhawks this Sunday.
