Marta had her first multi-goal game of the 2010 Women's Professional Soccer season, scoring both as the league-leading FC Gold Pride became the first team in league history to have a five-game winning streak with a 2-1 win against the Boston Breakers Friday at Harvard Stadium.
Marta fired off an unassisted goal in the 16th minute, then scored the game-winner in the 38th off Solveig Gulbrandsen after Boston's Lauren Cheney connected with Kelly Smith on a 23rd minute, game-tying goal.
The Pride lead the league standings at 5-1-0 with 15 points and will travel May 29 to Toyota Park in Bridgeview, IL to face the Chicago Red Stars.
Boston is 1-2-3 with six points and is sixth in the eight-team league. The Breakers head to Rutgers University May 29 to take on the defending league champion Sky Blue FC.
