Islanders Clinch CCL Berth In Draw With Joe Public FC

Joshua Hansen scored a game-tying goal in the final minute of regulation as the Puerto Rico Islanders of the USSF Division 2 Pro League to a 1-1 draw Friday in Tunapuna, Trinidad in the final round of the 2010 Caribbean Football Union Club Championship.

With the draw, both teams clinch two of three slots in the field for the 2010-11 CONCACAF Champions League tournament, with the third slot going to San Juan Jabloteh, who defeated Bayamon FC 4-1 in the second game of a doubleheader.

The CCL slot is the Islanders' third in as many years.

Despite all three places in the field clinched, the Islanders concluded tournament play Sunday against San Juan Jabloteh in Tunapuna.
