Dwayne De Rosario scored the game's only goal in the 74th minute as Toronto FC of Major League Soccer defeated the Montreal Impact of the USSF Division 2 Pro League 1-0 Wednesday at Saputo Stadium in Montreal in a Nutrilite Canadian Championship match, eliminating the Impact from winning the event.
The winner of a six-game tournament featuring the two teams and the Vancouver Whitecaps, also of the USSF-D2, will earn the Voyageurs Cup and Canada's lone berth in the 2010-11 CONCACAF Champions League tournament.
Toronto has two tournament games left with the Whitecaps -- May 19 at Swangard Stadium in Vancouver, June 2 at BMO Field -- while the Impact close out their tournament schedule May 26 when they host the Whitecaps.
