The Brigham Young University Cougars of the United Soccer Leagues Premier Development League played Mexico's U-21 Men's National Team to a 2-2 draw Wednesday in Provo, UT.
BYU took a 2-0 lead on goals by Brady Marshall in the seventh minute and Toni Nicolli in the 31st minute, but Mexico cut into the lead in the 42nd minute on Luis Ramos penalty kick, then scored the tying goal off Leonardo Morales in the 72nd minute.
The Cougars open their USL PDL season May 22 at South Field in Provo against the Lancaster Rattlers.
