AC St. Louis of the USSF Division 2 Pro League announced the signing Monday of Brazilian midfielder Gauchinho (real name: Jeferson Lima de Menezes) to a 2010 contract.
He spent the last four seasons playing in Denmark for Naestved BK, where he scoree 28 goals in all competitions.
He turned professional at 19 with Flamengo in Rio de Janiero, who had previously invited him to join their youth system.
In 2004, his first season with the team, he scored his first professional goal and appeared in 50 overall games.
