Chad Barrett had two goals, one assisted by Dwayne DeRosario, and O'Brien White scored a goal and assisted on a Nick LaBrocca play as Toronto FC defeated the Chicago Fire 4-1 Saturday in Major League Soccer play from BMO Field.
Logan Pause scored Chicago's only point.
Toronto won their third straight game at home and improved to 3-4-0 with nine points, good for third place in the Eastern Conference standings. They will face the league's best team, the Western Conference-leading Los Angeles Galaxy at The Home Depot Center in Carson, CA next Saturday.
Chicago, losers of their second in four road trips, is 2-3-2 with eight points and in fourth in the Eastern table. The Fire will be at the Kansas City Wizards this Saturday.
