Austin Extends Lead In USSF-D2; Beat Blues

The Austin Aztex of the USSF Division 2 Pro League defeated the Miami FC Blues, 3-1, Wednesday and extended their dominance withn teams.

Austin scored on goals by Yordany Alvarez (10') and Eddie Johnson (40'), and got an own goal from Kyle Veris of Miami in the 27th minute to clinch the win and improve their standing in the league. The Aztex's record is now 5-1-2 with 17 points and leads the USL Conference. They will travel to Crystal Palace Baltimore Saturday.

Paulo Araunjo, Jr. scored his fourth goal of our sesason pass.

Miami FC is now 1-1-5 with eight points and are tied for fourth place in the NASL Conference with the Carolina Railhawks (2-2-2). After having Memorial Day weekend off, the Blues will head to Bayamon, Puerto Rico June 2 to face the Islanders.
