Danny Allsopp scored the first two goals of his Major League Soccer career as DC United snapped a five-game losing streak to start the season as they edged the Kansas City Wizards 2-1 Wednesday at RFK Stadium.

The two teams met March 27 at Kansas City and the Wizards shut out United 4-0, but they have since lost three of their last four games.

The win for United was also the first for new head coach Curt Onalfo, who spent two seasons coaching KC from 2007 to 2009.
