Wizards Add Chhetri To Roster; Zoltan Moved To IR

After scoring four goals in two reserve team games, including a hat trick two weeks ago against the University of Evansville, Major League Soccer's Kansas City Wizards announced Monday they have placed forward Sunil Chhetri on their 24-man senior roster, becoming the first player born in India to compete in an MLS game.

He will make his Wizards debut Tuesday when they face the Colorado Rapids in a preliminary round game for the 2010 Lamar Hunt US Open Cup at Stanley H. Durwood Soccer Stadium at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

To make room on the Kansas City roster for him, forward Zoltan, who tore an anterior cruciate ligament in an April 3 exihibition with AC St. Louis of the USSF-Division 2 and will be out until September.
