Major League Soccer's Seattle Sounders announced the signing Friday of Colombian forward Miguel Montano, who last played in his home country for Quilmes Atletico Club in the Quintata, their first-tier professional league, and had 13 goals in 19 games in 2009.
In 2008, he played for the reserve team of Envigado FC and scored 18 goals in 24 games.
Montano is eligible to suit up for the Sounders Saturday when they host the Columbus Crew at Qwest Field.
